Lens Performance Survey

Came across the following site. It seems to provide a comprehensive evaluation on the different lens. Problem is: I'm not sure how to read the #s???

镜头的选择

多谢a兄的介绍（http://shallwetalk.blogspot.com/2008/01/wide-zoom.html），我用了过去的三个小时来看了不同镜头的介绍。

初步锁定下一个出血目标： Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM

但在wide angle方面，还在 EF 20mm f/2.8 USM 与 EF 28mm f/1.8 USM 之间犹疑。更加复杂的是 EF 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 USM（zoom capability) 及 EF 24mm f/2.8（价钱）都是可考虑之选。

估计需要找机会到Canon Showroom一次，对比一下几个镜头的差别。

大厦返新

不经不觉我所住的大厦外墙返新工程已经进行超过一年。最近终于有完工的迹象。外墙周边的棚架已经开始拆卸。

终于有重见光明的一天。（在有棚架在外时，考虑到安全问题，所以一般时间我们都是把窗帘关起。）

赛马

这是我用a兄说用email直接post blog连相片到blog上。这是第二次的尝试。（第一次因为我没有将相片缩小，所以email的size太大，Notes不让我送出去。更大的问题是我没有save那个email，更糟的是bounce回来的email并没有内容，所以要重斗写过。）（结果是没有成功的，那些相片并没法显示出来。我需要重新post过）

今天因工作需要，Honey要到沙田马场。考虑到我从没去过马场，我都跟了一齐去。

马场内的气氛真的不错，每当每场赛事结束时，粗口都会满天飞！（我只是在赛道旁边，没有机会进那些贵宾厅等）

当然，马场是一个很好供拍摄的地方。下面是几张相片供分享。

10元的入场费算是很划算。当然马场的主要收入不是在入场费。就像我一般，我都买了一条3T。可惜没有中。我只是跟着苹果日报的"贴士"买的，但结果都中了7只马！

"Free" Wireless Service

I took the Singapore Airline flight to Singapore this time and the plane landed and took off at the Terminal 3 of the Changi Airport.

I learned that the T3 is brand new and it was opened on Jan 9.

On the return leg, I asked and found that there is free wireless interest service available. So I tried and found that it requires registration. Of course, I followed which required me to give up my phone # and email address. However, when I got the confirmation note, it requires me to check my email to get the password... but without the password I cannot use the Internet to check my mailbox... so what's the point?

I thought something like this will only happen in, but Singapore?!?!?!

TV Program

Just arrived at Singapore.

I am clearing out the emails while listening to the TV. Found an interesting TV program on Star World.

At the beginning, I thought it was a football game on the TV. It is England vs. France. When watched further it is a video game competition. It turns out that the program has a various of game for competition, football, racing, war game, etc. The prize is quite impressive as well, e.g., 1,000 UK pound for winning the car racing.

新玩具的使用

不经不觉间，部40D买回来已经有一个多星期。昨天看了一看，原来我已经拍了接近600张相。当然其中马上delete的有不小。

这星期中，去了不小地方影相，包括山顶、湾仔街市、黄大仙、我侄女的生日派对等。

我已upload了一些相片到Flickr上。等一会试一下从Flickr直接post相到blog的功能。

出血 (非自愿性)

继我在上个星期买了部相机后，昨天又发生了件出血事件，但这趟更厉害。

昨天，晚上在吃完我的侄女的生日晚饭后，在回家途中，我的车被尾随的一部的士“追尾”。坐在我傍边的Honey弄伤了一些肌肉，需要休息数天。希望过了几天后她能康复过来。

今天请了一天的假期，陪了Honey去看医生，医生说没有什么大问题。另外，跑了一圈替我的车子报价，发现原来就算有保险，若要维修的话，除了我了付deductible外，我还需要负depreciation。基本上两间车行都估我的车要Total Loss。真苦恼！看来要适应没有车的日子！
