近期我跟MoKee经常提及的问题：

Knowing Doing Gap
This week in BJ is very exciting/frustrating/tiring... you name it. See a lot of things happening here in BJ. Things just happened really fast and ad hoc.
From a new comer perspective, spotted quite a few improvement areas on how the business should be run. However, once think it over a couple of rounds, realize that I don't know how to execute and what can be done. I guess this is really the challenges of being in the "line".
More importantly, in every single meeting and discussion, the term "offering" always got mentioned. Everyone has certain expectation on "offering"... what can I do??? What worse, I haven't had a chance to talk to my key stakeholder yet!
BTW, had a chance to talk to big big boss today. The experience is very different from my expectation and my impression on her. My job will just be more interesting!
PS: On this trip, tried a few restaurants in BJ and realized that I really haven't done much in my prior trips to BJ.
PPS: My coughing is finally getting better today.

北京留影。。。死蠢
来了北京已经有三天了，感冒一直没法完全恢复，咳嗽只有每况越下！
本来特别带了相机来北京，并准备拍一些照片放到Blog上。相片是拍了几张，但刚才发现我忘记了带相机跟电脑的连线，也没带SD Card阅读器。真的是死蠢！
所拍的照片包括我和MoKee在长城饭店对面的茶餐厅（原来的新X记，现叫金多宝）所用的早餐、长城饭店旁边拍到的半边月亮、北京的蔚蓝的天空（这三天北京天气特别的好，都是天青气朗的）。
另：北京办公室非常的拥挤（一个桌面可以有四个人公用），而且非常热闹，弄到我跟MoKee今天下午要跑到星巴克去做事。

Manchester United statement on Roy Keane
'Manchester United has today reached agreement with Roy Keane for Roy to leave the club with immediate effect.
'The agreement allows Roy to sign a long term deal with another club to enable him to secure his playing career beyond what would have been the end of his contract at United in the summer.

昨天跟老板吃中饭的时候谈到我们的一个同事（甲同事）：
“老板提到当初本来想找甲同事替我们部门做一个项目，老板已经安排了跟甲同事两轮就项目背景的介绍。但甲同事回应是由于其他项目的安排，他只可以提供百分之二十五的时间，老板只可以说没奈何！
在从北京回香港的飞机上，老板刚好跟甲同事坐同一班机，并坐在甲同事的后一排。在飞机上，老板正忙于准备明天的演讲稿；但老板留意到坐在前排的甲同事只是在看报纸或者看电影。老板就考虑这跟百分之二十五许诺好像不匹配。。。”

Last Mile...
... Dead man walking. Assignment due in three days. Counting down the hours... and two more assignments currently put aside!
On the other hand, a flu (hopefully not bird flu) is brewing. Not sure whether it is because of the stress or because of the air conditioning during sleep. (Yes, we still have the air conditioning on in November. Last time I check we are still on the Northern Hemisphere.) Or, I am getting myself ready for the trip to BJ (weather forecast: -8 to 10 degree Celsius)... and even worse is that I found out yesterday that the winter clothing allowance from my company has been cut.

小狗
前两天一个朋友到旺角准备买一只小狗，所以跟了一齐去看。
小狗只有两个月大，是一头拉布拉多犬，非常可爱。
回想Shanghai买回来的时候已经是四个月大，他跟威威（小狗的新名）差别还是颇大，威威相对容易控制及听话。我相信到威威四个月大的时候，他会跟Shanghai一样顽皮。拉布拉多就是拉布拉多嘛！但令我体会到在小狗的成长过程中，每一阶段都有他的怀念价值，真的要多多珍惜！
后记：到写这文时才想起没有替威威拍下照片。下次再补。

Mascots for Beijing Olympics
Two days ago, the organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad -– Beijing 2008 (BOCOG) announced the mascots for the 2008 Game:
On the first look, the mascots are a bit "“土"”, but after looking at it a bit more and the design of the other mascots with the sport events, they are in fact quite good and very representative of Chinese culture as well.
Two days ago, the organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad -– Beijing 2008 (BOCOG) announced the mascots for the 2008 Game:
"The five mascots are officially called the Five Friendlies. They are Beibei, the fish; Jingjing, the panda; Huanhuan, the Olympic flame; Yingying, the Tibetan antelope; and Nini, the swallow. The first syllables from their two-syllable names form a line that reads "“Beijing Huanying Ni"”, or in English "“Welcome to Beijing"”. The mascot'’s colours were chosen in line with the colours of the Olympic rings."
